So i hadn’t seen this cheese since the Marion days – until today that is – Kunik – a goat’s milk and cow cream, "triple cream" cheese (now you dont see the words "goats milk" and "triple cream" in the same sentence too often.) made on the farm somewhere in N.Y. state – Nettle Meadow Farm- the cheese brings back good memories too.
i’m just cruising around Miles and all of a sudden boom! there they are – about a half dozen Kuniks, just sitting there, very unassuming. And i was so happy just to snag one that i didn’t even look at the price till i got home………..
Get this……$35. 95 for a…. wait for it…….
…a 6.5 oz. cheese!
…..and the truly sad part? For me it’s worth every penny!
